Shipping Policy

Free shipping promotions apply to residential or business curbside delivery within Toronto Area Onatrio. We process and ship orders Monday through Friday. Orders placed by 12 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, are normally shipped within 3to 4 business days. Items ordered on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) start to process and ship as early as the following business days. Some items may be placed on back order. A few extra days may be required for back ordered items to ship. We highly recommend not to schedule your installation/replacement until you have received your product this can avoid any possible additional charges, some delays in shipping by the freight or ground carrier may occur which are unfortunately out of our control.

Equipment Arrival

  • Shipping transit times are not guaranteed and may vary depending on your delivery address. however it is subject to availability within your local Freight Company delivering terminal.
  • Once your order arrives, make sure to inspect each and every item on the pallet. Count the number of items (boxes) on the shipment. Make sure that your count matches the count printed on the delivery receipt before signing for your delivery.
  • Missing items or incorrect items that were noted on the delivery receipt, must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order by contacting our customer service department. We reserve the right to reject any claim for a missing items if not reported within the twenty-four period.
  • After taking count of the pieces on your shipment, remove wrapping or boxes and inspect each item of equipment thoroughly in the front of the driver. Do not sign the delivery receipt until you have thoroughly inspected each item. Check all of the equipment to make sure it is not dented or heavily scratched. Make sure to mark the delivery receipt clear, short, wrap broken or damaged after inspecting your shipment thoroughly. (Whichever is applicable.)

Making Notes on the Delivery Receipt

  • If the number of items noted on the delivery receipt matches what you have received and none of the items have been damaged. Accept your delivery, sign and Mark the Receipt Clear.
  • Please note: The consignee (the customer) is responsible to check and assure that the products being received are clear of damages and/or shortages.
  • If the items or boxes on the shipment do not match the number listed on the delivery receipt. Mark the Receipt Short (a packing slip will be attached to the freight shipment for your reference) Make sure to note on the delivery receipt which items are missing. We will work with the carrier to track the missing items, please allow up to 7 business days for the freight carrier to locate your items. Please allow the appropriate time for the Freight Carrier to locate the missing items notated short on the delivery receipt. If the freight carrier is not able to locate the missing items, we will ship those items via standard ground shipping to you at no charge if the receipt was noted short and the items that are missing are noted on the delivery receipt.
  • If the shrink wrap is torn or has been replaced during transit; Mark the Receipt Wrap Broken.

How do I handle a Damaged Shipment?

  • If any of the items appear to have any type of damage; Mark the Receipt Damaged (write which items are damaged and describe the damage).
  • Only refuse the items that are damaged, keep and sign for the items that are in good condition and be sure to notate the items that are being refused for damages clearly on the delivery receipt. You must contact our Customer Service Dept. to report which product(s) were refused for damages and which product(s) were accepted at the time of delivery. After our Shipping Department receives confirmation from the Freight LTL Company we will promptly ship out the replacement product(s) to you.
  • We only ship out product(s) replacements when the order was refused for damages at the time of delivery. If you have signed your delivery receipt, but later discover your equipment is damaged; you will need to contact the Freight LTL Company terminal to report the damages to the claims Dept and provide them your shipping address to file a claim for damages or shortages. The outcome is between you (the customer) and Freight LTL Company.

Return Policy

Here at commodore group ltd. we work hard to deliver high-quality products, in excellent condition, If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, unopened and not installed and in its original manufacture package can be returned by contacting our customer service department. A 25% restocking fee may be charged on all returned merchandise, unless defective.

Returns for Unused Products

We can process returns for unused products and refunds only for items purchased from commodore group ltd., To set up a return for unused products purchased online, contact customer service within 3 days from the day your order shipped. If you are returning a product because we made an error in your order, we will promptly send you the correct item at no additional cost and we will schedule and pay for return shipping. If you are returning for personal reasons, the shipping fees to and from your location will be deducted from your refund. Please contact our customer service and advise of the incorrect item received.

To receive a refund, please make sure of the following:

  • All returned merchandise must be unopened in its original manufacture packaging.
  • The product must be free from damages, scratches and/or defects
  • All merchandise must not have been installed
  • Personalized or custom-made products cannot be cancelled after the order is placed
  • You must have the original manufacturer packaging for the item (manuals, accessories, packaging materials) and unopened
  • All free or gift items including accessories must be included with your return
  • There cannot be any writing or labels on the original manufacturer packaging for the item.
  • Packages must be sent back by customer via a traceable source, such as FedEx or UPS. Please do not use USPS
  • All freight bound equipment must be returned via freight carriers (If you are unsure which method your products should return via please contact us)
  • All items must be returned with their assigned return merchandise authorization (RMA) number. Items returned without an RMA number will be refused by us.

PLEASE NOTE: Items marked as Clearance or Overstock are not eligible for return.

The purchaser is responsible for the cost of the returned shipping. All returns associated with our “Free Shipping offer” will have deducted from the refund the original shipping fees that commodore group ltd. incurred in the process of shipping your order. For all other orders not associated with our “Free Shipping offer” (Original shipping charges are non-refundable)

We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. You must contact us to file a lost shipment freight claim with the respective shipper. We recommend you to retain your invoice number after shipping your product.

Service Charges

Our regular service charge is $120 per hour from Monday to Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm. However, for after-hours, weekends, or holidays, the rate is $240 per hour, with an additional $65 for truck dispatch. The minimum diagnostic fee is 3 hours plus the truck fee of $65. All prices are exclusive of taxes. Please note that free estimates are only applicable for new projects and not for repairs or diagnosis unless we have informed the client in writing that we are waiving the fees.

Service Call Cancellation

We will not charge the client or we will issue a refund if the service team was informed in advance and before the truck leaves the facility, However, if the truck has already left our facility, a service charge cancellation fee of $200 will be issued to the client. We accept a one-hour notification time prior to the arranged service call time in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to waive the cancellation fee, but it may be longer for other cities. The client may inform us of any cancellation by text, call or email. If the client does not pay the cancellation fee, their credit card will be charged.

Invoices

All invoices are due within 2 weeks from the date of issuance. For each additional week that the payment is delayed, an interest rate of 1.5% on the total amount will be added, unless the customer has confirmation from us that we are waiving these interest fees.

Installation of Equipment

Our team will coordinate with the client to arrange a suitable day and time for the installation of the equipment. We prioritize cases where there is a sudden loss of heat, cold or power. Once our team arrives, they will unload the purchased equipment and proceed with the installation. We will also collect the old equipment and any old installation materials for disposal or possible re use by us or a third-party contractor, in coordination with the owner. If the owner decides to keep any part of the old equipment or installation materials on site, they should inform us, and we will leave the equipment or materials in a designated area at the same address as the installation.
